A new brand platform turning the complex search for a stem cell match into a universal story of finding “the one.”
Anthony Nolan tasked us with driving financial donations, but with little public awareness of the charity, we first had to create a brand platform.
To find a stem cell match, Anthony Nolan searches a global register of donors — it’s like finding a needle in a haystack. Financial support literally funds this search and helps save lives. Without donors, there is no alternative for many cancer patients.
From this came the platform line: “Without you, there is no cure.” A simple way to communicate the vital role donors play in people’s lives, and how donations help find that life-saving match. Creatively, this led us to the kind of ‘match’ everyone understands - romance.
